I am Ross Przybylski, veteran Adobe Flash developer and aspiring indie game designer. Last February, I attended the Mochi Flash Gaming Summit, a one day conference dedicated to bringing together leaders of the flash gaming industry. I learned a valuable lesson: success isn’t defined by the ingenious games we painstakingly dedicate ourselves to create, but rather the talent we as individuals contribute to the community.
The game industry is driven by a momentum of creative insight. By openly sharing the lessons we have learned along the way with our fellow peers, we fuel this momentum in a positive and amazing way.
It is with this realization that I take great pleasure in announcing the Indie Flash Blog, a site dedicated to discussing indie games and Flash development! The format will be an exciting blend of game design articles, technical development tutorials, and overall insights on the ever-evolving Flash and indie gaming industry, starting with a long over-due piece for my fellow AIR mobile developers about the mobile GPU renderer.
